Foreign Posters

Almost every country has their own style of poster. Some of the more popular collectible foreign posters are British Quads, Australian Day Bills, French Subway Posters, and Belgium Posters.

British Quads:

British Quads are possibly the most popular of all foreign posters. They measure 40 x 30 and are typically printed on matte or glossy stock. The paper has the same thickness as North American One-Sheets. The "BQ" is larger than the US Half-Sheet and will almost always have a different artwork than the One-Sheet for the same American movie.

Australian Day Bill:

Australian Day Bills measure 13 x 30 and are usually found folded. They are usually printed for American made movies and most often have different artwork than the One-Sheet for the same American movie. These are very sought after because of their size and artwork.

French Subway Posters:

French Subway Posters measure 47 x 63 and are always folded. They are usually printed for American made movies but will have French writing on the poster. They are made on fairly thin paper stock.

Belgium Poster:

Belgium posters have long been celebrated for having some of the finest in artwork of any of the world's film posters. This is especially true of the Sci-Fi and horror genre. Most often the art work is different from the US and almost always better. Belgium posters generally run 14 x 22.
